1. Nine Franchises decided for the AT20 League are as follows: Anekal, Attibele, Bannerghatta/Bommasandra, Chandapura, Dommasandra, E-City, Jigani and Sarjapura.
2. Interested parties willing to bid for one of the eight franchises mentioned above shall submit the online proposal form. There shall be no other franchises representing any other town, village or panchayat in Anekal taluk allowed for bidding.
3. Team owners shall mandatorily include town name in their team names. (Ex: Bannerghatta Tuskers)
4. The submitted proposal form shall be reviewed by the OC members and an invite will be extended for franchise auction and player auction events.
5. Interested parties will be required to submit a fee of ₹25,000/- (One time fee) for purchasing a franchise and renew his membership every subsequent year by paying a renewal fee of ₹9,999/-.
6. Tournament entry fee is ₹50,000/- only.
7. The owners should make an upfront payment of franchise ownership fee and tournament entry fee. Failing to do so will result in auto cancellation of registration.
8. Franchise ownership can be split amongst 3 (three) members only and shall not exceed. The list of shareholder details to be shared with OC post auction.
9. Franchise owners shall manage the team by having their support and training staff.
10. Franchises shall strictly ensure all players in playing XII are wearing a similar team uniform, not adhering to uniformity will be asked to leave the playing arena. Teams shall ensure to have one common style of jersey and tracks for all members of the squad.
11. Franchises can only bid for players in the players auction and no other players shall be allowed to be included in the squad.
12. Each franchise to pick 16 players in the auctions. The number of players shall not exceed.
13. Player transfer window will be open for subsequent year for a short duration where players will be allowed to be traded to other franchise. The player transfer shall be completed only upon agreement by both teams and a final approval from the OC.
14. Franchise shall uphold dignity to the highest standards, discipline and avoid any misbehaviour by its members towards other members of the home franchise or other franchise members. Sledging is strictly prohibited and can lead to disqualification of the player or the franchise for one or multiple games or for the entire tournament if deemed necessary by OC.
15. The owners of the franchise not willing to renew their ownership can sell their franchise post obtaining an approval from OC. More information can be found in Teams Ownership Renewal & Transfer Guidelines policy.
16. Failing to renew the membership by paying fee of ₹9,999/- within the stipulated date for subsequent year will result in auctioning of the franchise to other interested parties and the one time fee of ₹25,000/- paid will not be refunded.
17. In the event of a franchise not being picked by any of the interested parties, the town name shall be replaced by second franchise for another town in demand.
Teams Ownership, Renewal & Transfer Guidelines.
1. Teams to mandatorily pay a renewal fee of ₹9,999/- every year within stipulated time and adhere to guidelines laid by OC, failing which the ownership of the team will be forfeited and the franchise will be auctioned.
2. The franchise renewal fee is subject to be hiked YOY basis and the remuneration is decided by the OC members.
3. The owners can sell, transfer ownership of franchise to other parties via financial transaction or any other trade option that is agreed upon by selling and buyer parties or forfeit the ownership back to OC at no cost. The final approval of the ownership transfer shall be approved by OC, if the OC decides to not approve the ownership transfer, the deal between the buyer and the seller is deemed to be cancelled. The final approval for ownership transfer process by OC is to ensure that the franchise ownership is not issued to any parties who may jeopardise the AT T20 league event.
4. The OC shall help in forming an owners union (OU). The OU can work together with OC to enhance the experience of the tournament.
5. All rights of issuing franchise ownership and player registration acceptance are reserved with OC & T-Rex Bengaluru.
1. Teams shall adhere to fixtures strictly and there will no option of re-scheduling games to another day or time.
2. Matches will be held on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
3. Sledging is strictly prohibited. Any wrong behaviour by a player/team will be dealt with strict disciplinary action and can even result in disqualification of player or team.
4. Walkover will be awarded to the opposition in case of no show by any team.
5. D/L method to be followed in games affected by rain / bad light.
6. Reserve day is for rain affected games only. Points to be shared if the game is washed out on a reserve day. A game result will be decided on the basis of D/L method if a minimum of 6 overs are completed in the second innings.
7. Matches will be played on concrete matting wicket. White SF True Test leather ball shall be issued.
8. Man of the match to be awarded for every match.
9. Player of the tournament, best fielder, best batsman and best bowler shall be awarded for the entire tournament.
10. Impact player allowed.
11. Matches start at specified time strictly and teams to be penalised if arriving late, overs to be reduced for team arriving late.
12. Decision of umpires to be final, any argument pertaining to umpiring decisions can lead to disqualification of teams from tournament.
13. Teams should complete 20 overs within 90 minutes of the stipulated time. If a team fails to complete bowling 20 overs within stipulated time in the first innings, overs will be reduced when they’re batting in second innings. In case of slow over rate maintained by a team in second innings, field restrictions will be enforced accordingly by the umpires in the same innings on case-to-case basis.
14. Power play of 6 overs is mandatory per innings.
15. Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 4 overs.
16. ICC T-20 Rules shall be followed.
17. Top 4 teams shall qualify for playoffs. Top 2 teams to play Qualifier 1 and the winner advances to finals. 3rd and 4th teams shall play an eliminator and then winner of the eliminator shall play against the losing team of Qualifier 1, winner of Qualifier 2 game shall advance to finals.
18. T-Rex Bengaluru holds no responsibility for any injuries or loss of life on field of play. All players to sign a self declaration form mandatorily.
19. First aid kit would be available during match days and teams can reach out to match officials if needed.
